๐Ÿ”’ Your Privacy Matters

Privacy Policy

We built InvoiceCreatorFree so that your invoice data never has to leave your browser. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we don't, and how we handle your visit.

๐Ÿ“… Last updated: June 2026

01 Overview

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ The short version: your invoice data never leaves your browser. We do not collect it, store it, or transmit it anywhere.

This Privacy Policy applies to the website invoicecreatorfree.com ("the Site", "we", "us", "our"). It describes what information we may collect when you visit the Site and how that information is used.

By using this Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

02 Invoice Data You Enter

โœ… All invoice data โ€” your company name, client details, amounts, bank information โ€” is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to us.

When you use any invoice template on InvoiceCreatorFree, everything you type into the form fields is processed exclusively within your browser using local JavaScript. This includes:

  • Your business name, address, and contact information
  • Your client's name and details
  • Invoice line items, amounts, tax rates, and totals
  • Payment instructions or bank details you may add
  • Notes, terms, and any other custom fields

When you click "Download PDF" or "Download PNG", the file is generated locally in your browser and saved directly to your device. No data is transmitted to our servers at any point in this process.

We do not use databases, cloud storage, or any server-side processing for invoice generation. We cannot access, view, or recover the invoice data you enter โ€” even if requested.

03 Cookies & Analytics

Like most websites, we may collect basic, anonymised usage data to understand how the Site is used and to improve it. This may include:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • General geographic region (country/city level โ€” not precise location)
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Referral source (e.g. search engine or referring website)
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

This data is collected in aggregate and anonymised form. It does not include any invoice data you enter, and it cannot be used to identify you personally.

We may use standard analytics tools such as Google Analytics. These services may place cookies on your browser. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Most browsers also support extensions that block analytics tracking if you prefer.

Cookies used by analytics services are first-party or third-party session/persistent cookies. They track general browsing behaviour for the purpose of improving this website. They do not track invoice content.

04 Advertising

InvoiceCreatorFree is a free tool supported by display advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads on this Site.

Google AdSense may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve you ads based on your browsing history and interests across the web. This is known as interest-based or personalised advertising.

Specifically, Google may:

  • Use advertising cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites
  • Allow Google and its partners to serve personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your settings and applicable consent requirements
  • Use data from Google's advertising network to measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and tailor ads to your interests where permitted

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this Site or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or by using the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tool. You can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

For more information on how Google uses data when you use sites that use Google services, visit Google's partner sites privacy page.

Advertising cookies are independent of invoice data. Ad networks have no access to the invoice content you enter, because that data never leaves your browser.

05 Third-Party Services

The Site makes use of the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Google Fonts โ€” Used to load the typefaces used on this site. Google may log font requests. See fonts.google.com/privacy for details.
  • Google AdSense โ€” Used to display advertising. See policies.google.com/privacy for details.
  • Google Analytics (if active) โ€” Used for anonymised usage analytics. See policies.google.com/privacy for details.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party beyond what is described above in the ordinary operation of these services.

We do not have affiliate relationships or data-sharing agreements with any advertising partners beyond what is standard to Google AdSense operation.

06 Children's Privacy

InvoiceCreatorFree is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are under 13, please do not use this Site.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please discontinue their use of the Site. As we collect no invoice data and use only standard analytics, no further action is typically necessary.

07 Your Rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have certain rights regarding personal data. These may include:

  • The right to know what data is collected about you
  • The right to request deletion of your personal data
  • The right to opt out of targeted advertising
  • The right to data portability

Because we collect no invoice data, and any analytics data collected by third-party tools is anonymised, there is typically no personal data held by us that would be subject to these rights. For data held by third-party services (Google Analytics, Google AdSense), you should exercise your rights directly through those services using the links provided in Section 4 above.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or California (USA), additional rights may apply to you under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively. The opt-out mechanisms for advertising described in Section 4 are sufficient to exercise your CCPA right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (as defined by that law).

08 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the Site after any changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

The core principle of this policy โ€” that your invoice data never leaves your browser โ€” is a structural property of how the tool is built, not just a policy commitment. That will not change.
